Chief Relaxation Officer

Meet Stuart.

The Chillest Chihuahua on the Internet

Stuart is my tiny black Chihuahua and one of the most relaxed dogs you'll ever meet. His favorite place is being cradled like a baby, where he'll happily stay without a care in the world. He may be small, but he brings a huge amount of personality, calm energy, and companionship into my life.

01 — Stuart's Story

A very small dog with very big chill

Stuart is the calmest of the group and has perfected the art of being carried like a baby. He's affectionate, relaxed, and happiest when he's close to the people he trusts. His tiny size, black coat, and distinctive ears — one usually standing upright while the other does its own thing — make him immediately recognizable.

He's a real dog, by the way — my small black Chihuahua, not a mascot or a coworker, no matter how official his job title sounds. He's also been known to accept the occasional taco, and to fall asleep mid-conversation like it's a competitive sport.

02 — Found Together

It started with four puppies

Stuart's story didn't begin alone. He was found as a young puppy in my friend's front yard alongside his three brothers — White Thunder, Cash, and Wheelie. Four tiny puppies had appeared together, each with his own look and personality, but all clearly one little family.

After being rescued, the brothers eventually found loving homes within the same circle of family and friends — and the bond they formed before any of them had a home of their own never went away.

03 — Four Brothers, Four Homes

Same family, four front doors

They may live in different homes today, but they never stopped being brothers. Stuart came to live with me. White Thunder and Cash remained with my friend — in the same home connected to where their story began. Wheelie became part of Araceli's family.

Meet the pack

Lives with me

The calmest of the group and a small black Chihuahua with distinctive, uneven ears. Affectionate, relaxed, and happiest cradled like a baby.

Walter 'Wally' — aka White Thunder — the white-and-black brother, in a tan shirt

White Thunder

Lives with my friend

Really named Walter — "Wally" for short — though Andy's always called him White Thunder. He's the white-and-black brother and the easiest to spot, since he's the only mostly white dog of the four. Still sees Stuart regularly.

Cash, a black dog with soft floppy ears, in a grey shirt

Cash

Lives with my friend

The black brother with the soft, floppy ears — gentle and easy to recognize in their group photos. Lives alongside White Thunder.

Wheelie, a scruffy black brother, resting and looking at the camera

Wheelie

Lives with Araceli's family

The fourth brother and one of the original four — a scruffy, sweet black dog. He's part of the same extended family and still reunites with Stuart, Cash, and White Thunder.

05 — Still a Family

Brothers, always

Although they grew up in different homes, the four brothers still see one another, and they genuinely love each other. Their bond didn't disappear simply because they ended up under different roofs. When they visit, they recognize one another and get to spend time together again as the same little family that was originally found together.

The album

Moments with Stuart and his brothers — with room for more, including future photos of Wheelie and all four together.

What began with four puppies appearing together in a front yard became a story of rescue, family, and four loving homes. Stuart, White Thunder, Cash, and Wheelie may not live under the same roof, but they remain connected. They still visit, still recognize one another, and still share the bond they formed before any of them knew which home would eventually become their own.
